Ashley Douglass, DVM
Dr. Douglass is a native of East Lansing, MI and while she misses her family still in Michigan, she is thrilled to be enjoying the relatively mild winters in Oakwood. A graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Douglass chose a career in veterinary medicine because she loves sharing her knowledge with clients and treating various ailments & diseases in patients. She loves educating clients on preventive measures they can take to keep the furry members of the family happy and healthy for years to come. In her spare time, Dr. Douglass enjoys Zumba, reading and working with her husband, Justin, on their home. Along with Justin, Dr. Douglass shares her home with three cats (Carter, Oliver and Tiger) as well as their lab, Banjo.
Emily Wallin, DVM
Dr. Wallin is a graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine class of 2011. Dr. Wallin's favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is surgery. She also really enjoys forming a relationship with her patients and watching them grow. She finds it a great privilege to be a vet and is very proud to be a part of this profession. Dr. Wallin takes every chance to travel that she can; one of her favorite opportunities was when she was able to travel to Thailand where she got to work with elephants. She loves to hang out at the river, camp, and is not bad on the golf course. She has three dogs of her own, Trout, Pepa and Darcy who are perfect in every way.
